We'll try to give you all the basic info you need here to use your new hosting account Email account..
We'll break it down in to various usage groups, i.e. pop3/smtp, imap, secure imap, and webmail.
YOUR-DOMAIN.com = your domain name / url in non-capital, lowercase letters.
To check your mail through a desktop application you will need to configure the application. Your mail server is most likely mail.YOUR-DOMAIN.com. You will need to use the full username (user@YOUR-DOMAIN.com) and password when setting up your account in your desktop mail application. It is a good idea to check 'My Server Requires Authentication' as well as our mail servers requires this option. If your e-mail client has trouble using a @ sign in the login, you can use +, :, or % sign instead.
POP3/SMTP/IMAP
This is the basic email setup used in various clients like outlook (and express), thunderbird, and so on.
Incoming Mail Server: mail.YOUR-DOMAIN.com POP3 port 110 IMAP port 143

You can use mail.YOUR-DOMAIN.com for both incoming and out going mail settings as well as for SSL/TLS secure email ( IF you accept the security certificate notice )
Supported Incoming Mail Protocols: POP3, POP3S (SSL/TLS), IMAP, IMAPS (SSL/TLS)
Supported Outgoing Mail Protocols: SMTP, SMTPS (SSL/TLS)
*Recomended.
WEBMAIL
Webmail allows you to check your email from a web browser as opposed to a desktop mail application such as Outlook Express or Thunderbird. This means that you can check your email from any web browser. Please make sure to log out when checking your email on public computers so that other people cannot read your email.
You can check the webmail for your account by logging into https://svr4.1-gb.net:2096/ with the full username (user@YOUR-DOMAIN.com [use lower case only]) and password for the email account (port 2095 can also be used for non SSL [https]ie http://www.YOUR-DOMAIN.com:2095), or visit www.YOUR-DOMAIN.com/webmail OR http://webmail.YOUR-DOMAIN.com and login.
We suggest using Horde as your webmail choice, it has a great feature set that includes some shared functions (calendars, address books, etc.) and for a simple interface choose squirrle mail. If you have continued issues getting it working, just create a support ticket for more help. Don't keep trying to login after you receive an error as we have too many wrong passwords protection enabled. (It will ban you after 5 unsuccessful attempts)
